Second Collection at all Masses next weekend Aug 31st & Sept. 1st for Diocesan Needs. This collection helps fund the administration of the Diocese and the various agencies of the Diocese, such as Safeguarding Children and the promotion of catechetical initiatives.

Catholic Paper: The Irish Catholic is for sale after all Masses, a great way to keep informed about what’s happening in the Church nationally and internationally; price €2.00.

Recycle / Swap Your Books in a continued initiative by Looking Good. Special box available in the Rural Dev Office during office hours for drop off or swap of books which are in good condition.

Newsletters: After Mass you might kindly take one home with you for your own prayer and reflection during the week, and take one to those you know who are sick or housebound at the moment.

Vacancies presently exist on the Kilcummin Community Employment Scheme. The positions involves the maintenance/caretaker work based in the village and assisting Community Care in the organising of their weekly Day Care facility. It is for 19.5 hours per week. This is a development opportunity and no experience is necessary as full training will be provided. Contact your local Intreo Office to check your eligibility. Kilcummin Rural Development Office provides a full Secretarial Service to all groups and individuals.  Assignments, Essays, Projects & C.V.’s professionally typed, confidentiality assured.  Other services include photocopying, laminating, e-mail, paying motor tax or property tax online. Congratulations: The Moriarty School of Set Dancing would like to congratulate their three set dancing groups who enjoyed fantastic success at the recent All Ireland Fleadh in Drogheda winning one gold and two silver. 

Junior Set Dancing: Enrolment for junior set dancing will take place on Friday 13th from 7pm to 7.30pm in the Recreational Hall. Classes will commence at the same venue on Fri. 20th at 7pm for beginners & intermediates followed at 8pm by advanced. Children are invited to join us from within & outside the Parish.
