Lourdes 2019: Kerry Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place between Thur Aug. 29th and Tue Sept. 3rd, 2019. This Pilgrimage will be led by Bishop Ray Browne with the theme ‘Blessed are the Poor’. The cost is €785 with direct flights from Kerry Airport.  Booking to be made by post to Janice O’Sullivan, ‘Droum House’, Nohoval Upper, Rathmore, Co. Kerry.  Tel. 064 7758219.

Adoration continues every Tuesday between 10am to 9pm.  New adorers are always welcome.

Trócaire Boxes are available in the Church porch and we ask that you take one as we support those in the developing world.

I.C.A.: Craft Class on Wed 27th March at 8pm in the Rural Dev. Office. All ladies welcome.

Kilcummin Looking Good: We are looking for volunteers to assist in collecting rubbish on the roads in the area. Bags are available at the Rural Dev. Office and can be returned there when full. Míle Buíochas.

Kilcummin N.S. Open Day: The Kilcummin N.S. Open Day for prospective Junior Infant pupils will be held in the school on Thursday, 11th April 2019, from 2.15pm-4pm. Parents and pupils are invited to attend. If you know of any child who intends starting school, please advise them to contact Kilcummin National School (064-6643163). Enrolment application forms are now available. G.A.A.: Couch to 5K starting Tue 26th March @ 7pm. All levels of fitness welcome; from never having run before to maybe just getting back into it, or just for the chat & crack! Every Tue & Thur night @ 7pm meet at the GAA pitch. For info. contact Patricia 087 9054466 or Tess 087 7976202.

Kilcummin Mat Pilates & Barre invite you to Kilcummin Recreational Hall every Sat. from 8 to 9am (bring mat) and Barre from 9 to 10am (bring mat & light weights). Kilcummin Defib Group would like to thank all who participated in the CPR training on March 20th. In all we had 40 attendees. Míle Buíochas.

Word Processing Level 3 will commence on 29th April until the last Mon. in May, resuming again in Sept. in the Rural Dev. Office. This module includes producing a range of documents, letters, posters etc. Contact Mary McSweeney (Tutor) for further info: 087 7798573.

Steps & Tunes’ Easter Camp with Adrian Moriarty will take place in the Recreational Hall from Tue 23rd until Friday 26th April from 10am to 2pm. The camp includes dancing, music, face painting and lots of fun and games. Fee €50 per child, concession for families. Numbers will be limited. You can book by registering with John at the RD office. Helping to Heal the Wounded Heart: A talk on grief and loss will take place at the Rose Hotel, Tralee on Fri 29th March from 7.30pm to 10.00pm. Admission €20 (OAP’s €10). The talk will focus on the importance of processing grief, coping mechanisms and the support organisations which are available. You are invited to bring a photo of your loved one/s (including pets). Refreshments will be provided.

Kerry Comhaltas are running the annual Scoil Fonn workshops on Traditional singing in English and Irish, and slow air playing on fiddle, flute & Whistle. We are also running a workshop on Sliabh Luachra Slide & Polka. It will be held on Sat. 13th April in the IT Tralee, North Campus. Fee €15. All Entries to County Secretary, including fee by Wed. 10th April. Entry forms available from Helen in the RD Office.
