An Appreciation: Christmas is a time we are more aware of our belonging to family and parish. Throughout the year many people help us, inspired by a spirit of dedication and generosity. In our parish we are most grateful to our readers, ministers of the Eucharist, singers, musicians, altar servers, collectors/counters, Altar Society, Liturgy Group, people who decorate & maintain the Church & everybody who has participated in our special liturgies. Also to Siobhán McSweeney & the O’Connor & Duggan families, the staff of the Rural Development Office & the teachers & pupils in our Schools. A special word of thanks to Sandra O’Connor, Clydagh who donated the Christmas tree.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Christmas is a time of year when we generate huge volumes of wastepaper, food and plastics.  As we hear and read in the media about the negative effects global warming has on our planet we are encouraged to reduce, reuse and recycle our waste wherever possible and help protect our environment by disposing of it in a proper manner.

Kilcummin Looking Good: Thank you to all for your generous support last weekend in our Clothing Collection and a special thank you to Tom Sullivan for the use of his van. Míle Buíochas.

The Kilcummin Rural Dev. Office will re-open on Wed. 2nd Jan. and the next newsletter will be printed on Friday Jan. 4th. We would like to wish all parishioners and visitors to the Parish a Happy & Holy Christmas.
