Covid 19: As we once again move to level 5 of the Government’s restrictions to control the virus, we think of our elderly and most vulnerable in our community. We ask you to be mindful of your family members and neighbours who may be experiencing hardship and anxiety and could avail of your help and support during these difficult times. We should also respect the measures put in place and adhere to all the regulations as it is only when we all pull together that we can overcome this pandemic. Ní neart go cur le chéile.

Healthcare Staff Urgently Required: As we know, the Covid-19 situation has deteriorated significantly over the last week and the next few weeks are predicted to be the most challenging of the pandemic so far. As a result Cork Kerry Community Healthcare are urgently seeking staff to work in their residential settings. These residential facilities (community hospitals) and in private nursing homes are coming under pressure with a number of outbreaks in several residential facilities. They are now asking any healthcare staff (particularly nurses and healthcare assistants) who can assist in providing essential care in these facilities to come forward by contacting the HSE offices or any staff member.
