Kilcummin Looking Good: Thank you all for making such great use of the Recycling/Bottle Bank at the Village Inn. If containers are full, please do not leave your bottles, etc. there but bring them home with you again. We would also ask people who bring their dogs out for a walk to clean up after them and to respect other road/footpath users with children, buggies, etc.

Lost: A car key was lost between the vicinity of the post office and church during the week.  If found please hand in to the P.O. or Rural Dev. Office.

Processing to Holy Communion

  • The key is that at any moment there are no more than 6–8 people out of their seats.
  • Working from front to back, come forward up your aisle in a single line. Return via the side aisle, keeping the two metres distance.
  • If you are wearing face covering, lower it to your chin as you approach the priest/Eucharistic minister.
  • To keep a distance, extend your hand towards the priest/Eucharistic Minister.
  • Having received Holy Communion, readjust your face covering.

At the final blessing

1. Please leave the church slowly, be mindful of Public Health guidelines.

2. All should carefully sanitise their hands.

3. Those nearest the church doors leave first, all doors are open.

4. If stopping to talk to someone, please do so well away from the church

    doors.

  • The parish newsletter is available as your leave. Also the basket for your weekly contribution.
  • Do all you can to keep each other safe from the virus.

It will be unusual for a while, but together we will make it work: Much of the above will take a little getting used to, but it is all possible—after all, our focus is the chance to return together for Mass, and we will all do whatever it takes to get us around the Lord’s Altar to receive the Bread of Life. SEE YOU SOON!! THANKS BE TO GOD.

Kilcummin GAA Club are looking forward to being back to full operation shortly. However it is still very important to adhere to Covid 19 restrictions policies as the virus is still a real threat in our community & the safety of our patrons is our priority. Electrical working has started in the new building & will be available for viewing in the near future. Anyone interested in buying a Brick to be included on the "Wall of Champions " should contact a club executive member for details. The club have always greatly depended on Lotto sales for day to day expenses and while that is suspended the huge running costs must still be met. The club is running a "share the pot" to offset some of these costs. Details are one facebook and on our website on how to play online but a sheet is also available in the Post Office. Please support. The winners will get 50% of the POT and the draw will be made each Friday live on Facebook.

Reflection

Lord, protect us, Your pilgrim people

as we journey towards our home in Heaven.

Bless us with a sense of adventure and

a sense of security

as we seek to be home-makers here on earth,

both with our loved ones and

in our parish community.

May we create for each other

an experience of Christian welcome

that puts us in touch with You,

and gives us a foretaste of what home

will be like for ever.

Amen.
