Second Collection for Lourdes Helpers will be taken up at all Masses this weekend 8th/9th Feb. This collection is our only way of obtaining funding in 2020. This year marks the golden Jubilee of the Pilgrimage; 1970 was the first Diocesan trip with The Late Archdeacon Michael Murphy as director. The Lourdes Helper Fund also helps assist pilgrims who may not be able to afford to pay the full fare and would like to go to Lourdes. Please support.

February 11th, Feast day of our Lady of Lourdes and of the Parish.  It is also World Day of Prayer for the Sick, Mass with the anointing of the sick at 9.30am.  Maybe transport could be arranged by family members, neighbours or friends for those who are unable to get to Mass. Teas and Refreshments afterwards in the Parish Centre, Kilcummin.

To Soften the Heart: Fresh ways of Hearing Lenten Gospels. Fr. Séamus  O’Connell, Professor of Sacred Scripture, Maynooth will explore the Lenten gospels on Sat Feb 29th 10.00am – 1pm in St. Brendan’s Pastoral Centre, Upper Rock Street, Tralee. Suggested offering of €5. Booking and further information from 066 7125932. Organised by the St. Brendan’s Parish Lectio Divinia group. Everyone is welcome.

Crib Offerings & St. Brigid’s Crosses: A big thank you to the teachers and children of our 3 National Schools for hand crafting St. Brigid’s crosses for last weekend. The amount raised was €292.25. A cheque for €653.28 which also included offerings from the Christmas Crib has been sent to the Sacred Heart Missionaries.  Míle Buíochas.

The 3rd Annual Memorial Fun Walk in remembrance of Brendan O’Leary, Lyreatough @ 2pm on Sun Feb. 16th. Registration €10 beginning @ 1.30pm, (U16’s free), all proceeds to Palliative Care, University Hospital Kerry. Last year we raised €5,030.00 which was absolutely fantastic. Hope to see you all again this year.

Mastergeeha FC: Our next Bingo night is on Feb 24th @ 8pm in the Kilcummin Recreational Hall. Jumble Sale: We have a large selection of used sports gear which has accumulated over time which will be on sale next Saturday from 10.30am-12.30pm. Our social committee has been busy ensuring all garments have been thoroughly washed and ready for new owners. Call in to the club shop next Saturday to pick up a bargain!

Killarney Library will host a talk entitled Understanding and supporting challenging behaviour for children with ASD on Thur 13th Feb @ 6.30pm. The talk will be delivered by Dr Claire Griffin. Also, the Autism workshop on Sat 29th Feb has limited spaces so prior booking is essential. Free admission to both events.

Adult Set Dancing: For a night of fun and craic come along to the Adult Set dancing every Tue night from 8.15pm to 9.45pm in the Clubhouse.
