Folk Group who sing at the 7.30pm Sat Mass would love to see more singers/musicians joining them. Practise every Thur @ 8pm in the Church.

Corpus Christi Procession: The annual Corpus Christi procession will take place on Sun 23rd June after 11.15am Mass.  A special invite to all our First Holy Communion children to wear their Holy Communion Day style. Also, we are encouraging all groups/organisations listed on the back of this week’s Newsletter to participate.

A Suggestion Box is now available in the Church Porch. The Parish Council invites Parishioners to post their suggestion/ideas here – at the Monthly Parish Council Meetings all suggestions will be read out and discussed.

Father's Day: Prayerful good wishes to all Fathers on this Sunday 16th.

A meeting for parents of children starting in Coolick NS in Sept '19 will take place on Thur, 20th June at 8:30 pm on the school premises.  Any other interested parents are more than welcome to attend.

Art Project: Bottle Top Art Project is complete, the group met on Tuesday to unveil the piece.  Everyone involved thoroughly enjoyed the time spent working on the piece.  Special thanks to Gardening Group members and the CE employees who gave valuable help constructing it. 

Horticulture Gardening Project: The 16 weeks provided to be both productive and enjoyable for everyone taking part, new skills learned and valuable friendships also made.  We look forward to harvest time!!

The Sequel Way, “Where one chapter ends, another begins” will be starting chair aerobic classes Fri 21st of June in the Parish Hall for adults (+65) at 5pm. The cost is €10 pp or €25 for 3 classes. The classes will look at improving functional movement skills, balance, coordination, strength and endurance. Why is it important for older adults to exercise? Prevention of disease or chronic conditions – According to the National Institute of Aging, exercising as a senior may delay or even prevent diseases like diabetes, cancer, stroke, heart disease and osteoporosis, just to name a few. It can help alleviate symptoms of depression and improve the mood in general. To book please call Ethan on 087 115 1502.

Fleadh Cheoil Chiarraí 2019 official opening will take place on Wed 19th June @ 9pm in Milltown Community Hall (Muintir Na Tíre Hall). There will be music, song and dance with special guests and light refreshments. Please feel free to bring along your own musical instrument and join in.  All welcome.

Kilcummin Looking Good: It’s been great to see so many people making such a big effort in cleaning up their areas.  The adjudicators from the Tidy Towns Competitions will be visiting us shortly so we would encourage everybody to make a big effort in cleaning and tidying up the area.  Bags, when full can be returned to the Rural Dev. Office.  Míle Buíochas.

Kilcummin Steps & Tunes Summer Camp’ from the 8th - 12th of July in the Recreational Hall from 10am to 2pm. The camp promises to be a week of fun with Set, Sean Nós and Brush Dancing with Adrian, music sessions, face painting and loads more fun and games. Children 4 years and upwards welcome. Fee €55 per child, concession for two. Limited number of places available. Booking to Adrian 087-9330768/John 086-1579381.

A meeting of Kilcummin Historical Group will take place in the Rural Dev. Office next Wed night June 19th at 8pm.  There will be an update on the Old Kilcummin Graveyard Project and ALL are welcome.
