Student Exams: We pray for our young people who are preparing for exams. This can be a difficult and uncertain time and we wish them every success and God’s blessing during these days.

The Valley 70 Leisure Cycle in aid of Coolick National School will take place on Sunday 9th June. Registration on Saturday 8th June from 6pm to 8pm and also Sunday from 7.30am. Race starts 9pm on Sunday 9th from Fossa Community Centre. There is a 30km & 70Km route. Entries fees are adult €25, under 16’s €15 - book online at VALLEY70.WEEBLY.COM. Community Alert:  Forms to join the existing Garda Text Alert system are now available in the Post Office. All completed forms must be returned to the Post Office by Fri. 14th June 2019.

The Monsignor Hugh O’Flaherty Memorial Society memorabilia and photographic exhibition will run at Killarney Library from Fri 31st May to Sat 15th June during library opening hours. Free Admission.

I.C.A:  Instead of the monthly meeting on Wed June 5th we will be going on a walk in aid Of Palliative Care, leaving the Rural Dev. Office at 8pm.  All welcome.

County Fleadh: Competitions in song, music and dance will take place in Milltown from Thur 20th-Sun 23rd June. The Fleadh committee are looking for stewards to help with the various events. If interested please contact Helen in Rural Development Office on 087-1191353.

Siamsa Tíre: Recruitment for all ages (7- 12), (13–17) (18+) Auditions will be held in Siamsa Tíre Theatre, Tralee on Sat 15th June from 10am – 6pm. 10am to 2pm (aged 7-12) 2 to 4pm (ages 13-17) & 4 to 6pm (aged 18+) Auditions by appointment only. Defibrillator locations: There are 6 defibrillators in the following locations, Anabla N.S., Coolick N.S., Kilcummin Post Office, Glounonea Grotto, Lyreatough & Finnegan’s Cross.

Kilcummin National School Parents Association Fundraiser:   The great Killarney duck race will take place at Deenagh River, Port Rd. Killarney on 14th June @ 6.30pm. €5 per duck. Ducks can be purchased from Kilcummin NS, Post Office, The Klub bar, Dungeon Bookshop & by contacting our Facebook page kilcumminnsparentscouncil. First prize, a one night family break in Kilkenny. Prize for the best duck costume.

A celebration of Irish Lore and Legends with songs, stories, music and poetry for children will take place at Killarney Library on Sat. 15th June from 10 -10.45am. It is facilitated by Billy Teare & Kathleen O’Sullivan and is part of the Creative Irelands Cruinniú Na nÓg celebrations. Free adm.

Places for the FAI Summer Camp which will be hosted in Kilbrean Park-Mastergeeha FC from July 1st - July 5th can now be booked through the FAI summer schools website. Please book early to avoid disappointment at www.summersoccerschools.ie

Summer Camp: ‘Kilcummin Steps & Tunes Summer Camp’ from the 8th - 12th of July in the Recreational Hall from 10am to 2pm. The camp promises to be a week of fun with Set, Sean Nós and Brush Dancing with Adrian, music sessions, face painting and loads more fun and games. Children 4 years and upwards welcome.
