Second Collection at all Masses next weekend April 27th & 28th for Peter’s Pence. This collection provides assistance to those in need in the Holy Land and helps fund Dispensaries, Charitable Institutes, Centres of Education & housing projects for the deprived.

Annual Easter Offering: Fr. Eamonn would like to thank all who have already handed in their Easter Dues which supports the priest. These can be placed in the special blue & white envelope in your box (but not in the weekly blue envelope) or can be placed in the envelopes available at the Church entrances and can be handed in at any time. Your ongoing support is much appreciated.

The Big Coffee Morning will take place on Sat 27th April from 10.00am to 12.00pm at the Royal Hotel. Big Raffle and Prizes.  Dedicated to the memory of Brenda Fitzgerald. All proceeds in aid of Pieta House.

Want a good read?:  In a new initiative by Looking Good for April which is Reuse Month you can now recycle or swap your books which are in good condition in the Rural Dev. Office. Special box in the office for drop or swap during office opening hours.

County Clean Up Day-Kilcummin Looking Good: A big thank you to all the people who have made such a big effort in cleaning up their areas. We are still looking for volunteers to assist in collecting rubbish on the roads in their area. Bags are available at the Rural Development Office and can be returned there when full. Míle Buíochas.

Killarney Library: Storytime for children will continue in Killarney Library on Sat 27th April at 10.30am.

Computer Training: Word Processing Level 3, commencing on Mon 29th April until Mon 27th May, resuming in Sept in the Rural Dev Office. This module includes producing a range of documents, letters, posters, editing, formatting, printing etc. For further information please contact Mary McSweeney 087 7798573.

Shep Certificate in Personal Development will run from the start of October to mid-May, one evening a week with 8 weekend days spread out over the duration of the course.  The full cost of the course is €790 and there is limited availability of a reduced fee of €490.  You may apply for a reduced fee place if you are 1) in receipt of a social welfare payment 2) A full time student or 3) if you are experiencing financial hardship.  Arrangements can be made with the project to pay the fee over the duration.
