Devotions to Our Lady of Fatima on the 1st Saturday of every month (except on days that there is a Requiem) in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Killarney commencing with Rosary at 10.10am followed by Mass @10.30am. Everyone welcome.

Kilcummin Legion of Mary meet every Tues @ 8pm in Church Sacristy. New members welcome. Annual Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine is Sunday 25th September. Fee €30. Contact Pat on 086 8510423.

The Rosary will be recited every Mon @ 8pm (grotto) in Church grounds.

Kilcummin Community Games Church Gate Collection will be next weekend 1st & 2nd October.

Sincere Sympathy to the family of Kate Murphy, Dunrine who died recently. Kate was a great community activist and was instrumental in the founding of Kilcummin Rural Development in 1993. May she rest in peace.

Travels Through a Kingdom  (Radio Kerry programme on Sunday nights) are hoping to do a feature on Kilcummin and are looking for people with local knowledge and a few stories to share, to help with this programme. If you are interested please contact Kaya on 087 1543905 (ext.216)

A Coffee Morning  will take place on Saturday 8th October  9.30am – 12pm in Mastergeeha Clubhouse Kilbrean, in aid of Kerry Hospice Foundation. Kilcummin Looking Good - apples in the park : As the Park goes through the natural seasonal change we have quite the crop of apples on our apple trees. Please feel free to take some apples home if you have some use for them.

Dog owners responsibility: We'd remind all our dog owners to be responsible and ensure that you remove any of your dog's waste and dispose of same.

Kilcummin ICA:  Outing to Kinsale Oct. 1st includes a visit to Mead Distillery, Charles Fort, Old Head Gardens & Museum. Cost €100, to be paid before 24th Sept. Trip also includes Tea, Scones, Lunch and Dinner. For more information contact Eileen 086 3689343.

Mat Pilates and Barre Classes continue in Kilcummin Recreational Hall. Pilates: Saturdays @ 9am, mat required; Barre on Mondays @ 7pm, mat and light dumb bells required. €10 per class or €50 for 6 classes. Kilcummin Ladies Football Club will hold a used clothing collection in the Kilcummin clubhouse on Friday 30th September from 6.00 – 10.00pm, Sat. 1st October, 10.00 -1.00 pm, Sun. 2nd October, 11.00 am – 12.30 pm. Re-wearable items of clothing, Paired Shoes, Handbags, Belts, Towels, Blankets, Curtains and Soft Toys only please. Thank You.

Senior Ladies Dancing continues every Tuesday night 8.30pm -  9.30pm in the GAA Clubhouse. Please note change of venue. Contact Mary Moriarty on 087 9620135.

Kilcummin GAA Lotto: There was no winner of the jackpot €2,750. Next draw is on Mon.26th Sept; jackpot €3,000. Tickets available online & from usual outlets.

YOGA FOR BEGINNERS: Beginners yoga flow starting in the Kilcummin Hall on Thursday €50  for 5 weeks, “own mat required”. Contact Sinead on 0852717721.
