KERRY PETROLEUM CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
Our lads suffered a heavy defeat against Austin Stacks in Tralee last Sunday. A late goal by James Nagle gave the score a bit of respectability but it is important to remember the extent of our injury crisis and the long year can take its toll. Thanks to Austin Stacks club for the courtesy extended to the team after the game. We now play Dingle in rd 3 in Kilcummin this week-end in an effort to avoid a relegation battle.
Our minor team exited the county league at the semi -final stage after a resounding defeat at the hands of a powerful Churchill side last Friday in Churchill.
At this stage we have approximately 50 teams signed up for our Celebratory Golf Classic on Saturday week April 27th. There are a few tee times available so contact Muiris Healy if you are interested in playing. Teams of 3 for €150 in Killarney Golf Club.
Next draw will be on 19th April. Jackpot €9,000.
