MASTERGEEHA
.U-15's:
Inter Kenmare 1 - 4 Mastergeeha FC. On Saturday, our U-15's travelled to Kenmare and had a great result due to challenging pitch conditions and a number of players suffering from colds and flu. Congratulations to Adam Murphy who put in a man of the match performance at right back and made the Kerry Schoolboys team of the week.
Scorers: Jack Fogarty & Eoghan Kelly
U-17's:
Killarney Athletic 2 - 2 Mastergeeha FC In a close local derby, we shared the spoils with Athletic with a 2 all result. Throughout the game, we created a number of good chances. Our first goal came from a good move ending with Roiri O'Connor crossing for Brendan O'Leary to score. Shortly after the boys took the lead when Adam O'Sullivan played Roiri O'Connor through who finished well.
Scorers: Brendan O'Leary & Roiri O'Connor
Seniors: Mastergeeha FC 2 – 1
Kilmoyley Athletic From the off, this game had a real physical intensity and both sides had a few half chances early on. Tommy O'Sullivan took an early opportunity to send send the ball over Kilmoyley's keeper to put us in the lead. It looked like this was going to end in a draw but our pressure paid off when the ball broke to James Nagle in the box who dispatched it to the back of the net in the dying minutes.
Scorers: Tommy O'Sullivan & James Nagle
