Keeping our roads free of litter is a huge effort from all involved as it is an eveyday problem. If you would like to volunteer to keep the roadside free of litter within close proximity to your home it would be of great help. Bags are available by contacting John on 086-1579381 at the Rural Development Office. Ní neart go cur le chéile

Walk Brochures are available at the Rural Development Office and the Post Office. Following recent feedback from walkers, we would very much appreciate if the following was observed by all users of the walk; (1) Bring your rubbish home with you and help keep this environment clean. (2) Keep your dog(s) on a lead when you come in contact with fellow walkers or wildlife. (3) Respect the local landowners’ property. This is a beautiful amenity in our Parish, and we should all strive to make it a clean, safe and friendly place to enjoy.

Kerry ETB understands that not everyone is confident in accessing courses online, but we are available to support individuals to do so. While nothing can replace the learning and social interactions that occur when we meet face to face, we are mindful that people may become disconnected if we do not respond. Therefore, our tutors are available to deliver courses and provide a platform to keep communities connected. Courses are aimed at adults in Kerry who are living alone, adults who have underlining health issues that have resulted in them cocooning and adults who are caring for a vulnerable adult or child. All courses are free of charge to these groups. Register your interest on using relevant course codes below. Creative Writing with Noel King, code: 324919. Men’s Wellbeing code: 316049. This is particularly true for the more vulnerable in society - among them, cancer patients, their families and carers. At Recovery Haven Kerry, we want to reassure you that we are still here for you. While taking every precaution advised, we are here to offer emotional support and practical help to those affected by cancer, their families or carers. While much of our group and therapy work is currently on hold due to Covid 19, we are still offering phone support, counselling and a range of online classes (Stretch and balance, yoga, pilates, stress management, mindfulness, look good feel better
