KILCUMMIN COMMUNITY NOTES
The 11.15am mass in Kilcummin Church last Sunday was a historic and sad occasion as it marked the end of a resident Parish Priest in the Parish. While parishioners always feared that it was something that could happen no one expected it to come so suddenly and without prior notice to the community. Parishioners were in total shock and disappointed when the news broke that we were going lose our Parish Priest Fr. Eamonn Mulvihill. Fr Eamonn had served the Parish for the past two years with great enthusiasm, commitment and energy and was very well respected and liked by young and old alike who came in contact with him. His good humour and wit was much appreciated by all. We wish Fr. Eamonn well as he takes up his new ministry as PP in Castlegregory.
There are still a limited number of places available for ‘Kilcummin Steps & Tunes Summer Camp’ which takes place next in the Recreational Hall from 10am to 2pm. The camp promises to be a week of fun with Set, Sean Nós and Brush Dancing with Adrian, music sessions, face painting and loads more fun and games. Children 4 years and upwards welcome. Fee €55 per child, concession for two. Enquiries and booking to Adrian 087-9330768
