SUMMER CAMP:
‘Kilcummin Steps & Tunes Summer Camp’ from the 8th to 12th of July in the Recreational Hall from 10am to 2pm. The camp promises to be a week of fun with Set, Sean Nós and Brush Dancing with Adrian, music sessions, face painting and loads more fun and games. Children 4 years and upwards welcome. It’s been great to see so many people out making such a big effort in cleaning up their areas. The adjudicators from the Tidy Towns Competitions will be visiting Kilcummin shortly so we would encourage everybody to make a big effort in cleaning and tidying up the area. The dressing rooms development is underway and it will cause some disruption to ongoing activities. We ask anyone using the facilities to be mindful of safety of themselves and others during this particular phase.
JUNIOR FOOTBALL
Junior Football Our Junior team have played three games in the county Junior league to date beating Laune Rangers and losing narrowly to Glenbeigh / Glencar and Gneeveguilla. Their next game is at home to Spa on Friday 5th July at 7.30 pm followed by an away game to Glenflesk on the 19th.
GNEEVEGUILLA ATHLETIC CLUB
Gneeveguilla Athletic Club presents 5 leg summer 1 mile series on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm. All categories catered for i.e. boys & girls U10 to masters over 70 men & women. Schedule Leg 1 venue: Barraduff June 26th, Leg 2: Kilcummin July 3rd (H.Q. in the Recreational Hall commencing @ 6.45pm), Leg 3: Knocknagree July 10th, Leg 4: Ballydesmond July 17th, Leg 5: Gneeveguilla July 24th.
