Held in the Gleneagle on 28th December the night was a resounding success attended by almost 300 patrons. The night of celebrations to honour an exceptional year for the club was adorned by the presence of RTE’s Marty Morrissey who acted as M.C. for the night. The senior team were presented with their Kerry and Munster medals by Tim Murphy Chairman of Kerry Co board while the junior team received their O Sullivan cup medals from Johnny Brosnan East Kerry board.
Donal and Niamh Dwyer were presented with the “Clubperson of the Year award” for their colossal contribution to the club over the year and in particular for organising the very successful “Night at the Oskars”.Junior player of the year went to James Nagle while Kieran Murphy, Gary O Leary, Paul O Shea and Keith O Leary were recognised for their achievements with Kerry during the year. Willie Fleming was acknowledged for his work in securing the extra playing field and Government sports grants.
Ian O Connell Fund raiser. Our Ladies committee once again organised a very successful fund raiser in the Klub on Friday 5th. They wish to acknowledge all those who sponsored the event and those who attended on the night and gave generously. Ian who attended with his parents was appreciative of the effort and wished the senior team the best of luck in two weeks in the All Ireland semi –final.
All Ireland Semi- Final v Two Mile House of Kildare is just ten days away so again it is time to put up the colours and get ready to travel to Gaelic Park in Limerick on Sunday week.

Park 0 Mastergeeha 4 The boys had a good win away on Saturday afternoon in Tralee. Jack Casey, Matthew Kennedy and Sean Mc Auliffe got the goals in a good team performance.
U12 DIV 2
Killarney Athelitic 5 Mastergeeha 1 Ronan Mc Carthy got the goal for Mastergeeha against a more clinical athletic team.
Premier Park 2 Mastergeeha 3 In this close game the boys got all three points. Eoin Kelly, Sean Doolan and Jack Fogarty got the goals in which all involved played well with James Williams excellent in mid field.
U14 DIV 2
Killorglin 1 Mastergeeha 1 In this game the boys got a deserved point away. Luke Daly got the Mastergeeha goal. The boys defended well with Ryan Mc Gurl, Diarmuid O Connor and David O Riordan leading by example. Liam Kerrisk made a number of saves late on to ensure the draw.
U16 DIV 1
Mastergeeha 2 Fenit 0 The boys got a good win at home on Saturday morning in a close game that was nil all at the break. In the second half Mastergeeha pushed forward and got the opening goal when Brendan O Leary finished well. Shortly after Mastergeeha got the second when Michael Mc Sweeney scored following a good move. After this Masteregeha defended well and created some chances with Rory O Connor going close.
Mastergeeha 2 Ballybunion 1 In this game the seniors had to battle hard for the points. In the opening half Mastergeeha created the better chances and had two goals disallowed. In the second half Mastergeeha continued to create some chances but the visitors took the lead with 15minutes remaining. After this the seniors pushed forward and got the equaliser when Tom Templeman scored. With 5 minutes remaining Barry O Leary got the winner following a good move. All played well.
