SENIOR LADIES: The Senior Ladies start the campaign in the County League away to Firies on Sunday the 26th. Time to be confirmed.

USED /OLD CLOTHES COLLECTION: Kilcummin Ladies Club will be holding a clothing collection at the end of March. More details closer to the date.
DUHALLOW U-20 TOURNAMENT: The Kilcummin/Rathmore combination had a fine victory over Douglas from Cork in the Final played in Rathmore last week. Kilcummin had eight players on the starting 15 and performed well. Damien O’Leary full back, Gavin O’Leary, Chris O’Leary and Noel Duggan were the half back line, Kieran Murphy at midfield. Ian Devane and Gary O’Leary, half forward and Kevin McCarthy in the full forward line with Jer Sheehan also on the panel. Chris O’Leary received the cup, following on from Captain Jamie O’Sullivan being unable to play due to injury. Willie Maher and Seanie O’Leary were the Kilcummin selectors with the team.

COUNTY MINOR LEAGUE: Kilcummin open their 2012 campaign with a game V Spa next Saturday the 25th February at 3pm in Kilcummin.

DEVELOPMENT DRAW: With the 31st March draw date being adhered to all those interested in progressing the development of the field and dressing rooms are asked to ensure a maximum return from the draw. The draw funding alone will not complete the project but it will assist in progressing the programme. The first prize is a car to the value of €20,000 or €16,000 cash, 2nd prize is a cruise holiday to the value of €3000, third prize is €1000 holiday, fourth prize a €1000 holiday and many more prizes of lesser value. Tickets are €20 each with three for €50 and nine for €100. Your support is very important.
EAST KERRY SENIOR LEAGUE: Kilcummin and Rathmore played out a competitive and entertaining encounter in Kilcummin on Sunday with victory to Rathmore 1-11 to 0-12. The Kilcummin opening half scores came from D.J. Fleming 0-4 (3F), Daniel O’Leary 0-1 and Mikie O’Shea 0-1 to leave the interval score Rathmore 0-8 Kilcummin 0-6. Kilcummin went ahead following points from Damien O’Leary, Kevin Gorman play and D.J. Fleming 2 pointed frees, however the decisive score was a converted Rathmore penalty in the 10th minute. Kilcummin pressed to the end with points from Daniel O’Leary and D.J. Fleming (free) however Rathmore held on for victory.
KILCUMMIN GAA LOTTO: There was no winner on Sunday 19th Feb. The numbers drawn were 10, 14, 24 and 26. KILLARNEY CAMOGIE CLUB FAMILY OPEN DAY on Sun. 26th Feb. at the Dr. Crokes Grounds from 2.30pm to 4.00pm. Check out the activities which will give each child an introduction to Camogie.
MASTERGEEHA FC: PREMIER U13 PARK 0 MASTERGEEHA 3: In the opening stages of this game the home side started the better and created some good chances but the boys defended well. After this Mastergeeha’s play improved and were unlucky not to take the lead when David Gleeson had a good shot saved. Minutes later Micheal Mahoney went close when his shot came back of the upright. Just before the break the boys took the lead when following some good play James Nagle scored at the back post. In the second half Mastergeeha were the better side and with Hugh Cronin going close early on. In the 50th minute Mastergeeha doubled their lead when Owen Daly scored following a corner. The boys continued to create chances and James Nagle scored again late on to ensure the victory. All played well.
KERRY CUP QUARTER FINAL DRAWS: All Mastergeeha sides got difficult draws in the Kerry Cup with uneven age games to be played on March 3rd and even age clashes a week later. U11 Mastergeeha v Killarney Celtic, U13 Mastergeeha v Killarney Athletic, U14 Mastergeeha v Killarney Celtic, U15 Mastergeeha v Killarney Athletic.
SENIORS - DIV 2MASTERGEEHA 8 BALLYHIGUE 0: The seniors continued their good form on Sunday at home with an emphatic win. All played well with Brian Fleming (3), Ricky Fleming (2), Adrian Cremin, Ryan Murphy and Micheal Coffey the scorers.
